Supporting Young Mothers Transitioning
Toward Safety and Success
The Teen Infant Parenting Services Program supports young mothers in search of support and safety. TIPS provides transitional housing services, parenting education classes, individual and group counseling, life skills training, case management and more. Services are provided to homeless mothers and their young children in Detroit.
We sat down with TIPS Supervisor Andea Dye-Farginson who has led the program for more than 22 years. She shared insight into the program and her favorite moments from her tenure. To read more about TIPS on the blog, click here.

It takes a village. Our work is made possible by the community partners and donors who stand by our side.
