Because of our partners, donors...
MCHS Family of Services is excited to introduce the annual Star Light, Star Bright Gala as we gather in person once again with our closest partners and supporters! With your support, we’re able to help thousands of children, families and individuals in the community rekindle a spark of hope and wish for the future they deserve.
Together, we have the power to turn wishes into reality – whether it’s a child in our foster care program wishing for a forever family, or young mother in our Teen Infant Parenting Services program wishing for safety and support for her and her children, we’re right here for them. Whether it’s a youth aging out of foster care wishing to learn skills for a successful future, or an unaccompanied child from another country wishing to be reunified with closest of kin, we continue to be here and continue to work on making wishes a reality.
Reserve your seat today as a sponsor or a guest at our Star Light, Star Bright Gala.

There was true magic in the room during our 3rd Annual Hearts & Heroes Gala, and we have our families, friends and colleagues to thank for it. We are truly humbled by the passion we felt coming from every single table at The Roostertail that night. MCHS welcomed more than 400 guests AND raised more funds than ever before at any MCHS event. We mingled, laughed, danced, and through many attendees, welcomed our first pledges supporting the inaugural class of our 2020 charter school – the first true trauma-informed education center in Michigan.
Guests were able to hear first hand the incredible stories of Jennifer, Dexter, Beth, Eli and Michael who have each uniquely been impacted by our mission and are thriving. Each speaker is now paying forward the lessons of kindness, integrity, empathy, willpower and grit which they’ve defined over their lifetime. These remarkable individuals are living proof that no matter what your circumstance is, anything truly is possible — a theme carried into the mission of our new charter school. We’re planting the necessary roots for children who have been dealt a rough hand to have the proper tools to succeed in school and feel that anything is possible. Thank you to our guest, our sponsors, our friends and supporters for growing with us. We couldn’t do it without you!
