MY FRIEND'S PLACE

Supporting Homeless Young Adults Transitioning Toward Independence and Stability

Our My Friend’s Place program offers three components tailored for youth aged 18-24 experiencing homelessness: transitional housing, rapid re-housing, and a hybrid of the two. Residents receive comprehensive support including housing, resources, case management, and therapeutic interventions to ensure stability and long-term success.

MY SAFE SPACE

Helping Young Adults Experiencing a Mental Health Crisis Find Safety, Stability, and a Path Forward

My Safe Space serves young adults aged 18-24 who are experiencing a mental health crisis and homeless, or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. This program provides immediate mental health resources and tools for safety and stability through Highland Park, Hamtramck,
and Detroit.

Friends or family members can make referrals on behalf of individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
Call or Text (313) 844-9136 today to refer an individual to My Safe Space.

While My Friend’s Place and My Safe Space are distinct programs, there is often overlap: young adults facing a mental health crisis frequently encounter housing instability, and those experiencing homelessness can easily face a mental health crisis. We are here to help them in either situation.
