Because of our partners, donors...
The impact of isolation and loneliness is a serious problem impacting our senior community. Our Senior Companion Program aims to combat isolation by pairing seniors with a fellow senior companion. Senior companion volunteers build relationships with program participants and bring friendship and activity to their lives. If you are interested in applying to become a Senior Companion volunteer, contact Director of Senior Programs, Tree Lipar at (313) 637-1042 or tlipar@mchsmi.org.
It takes a village. Our work is made possible by the community partners and donors who stand by our side.
We are a child and family service agency providing foster care, adoption, mental health, education, housing, and community-based services throughout Michigan.
