Independent Living Plus (ILP)

Each year, over 1,000 young people in Michigan age out of foster care. Thanks to our amazing community of supporters and partners, we help these youth prepare for a successful transition to adulthood through our Independent Living services.

ILP supports young men who are aging out of foster care by providing mentorship, life skills training, financial literacy, education assistance, workforce development, and much more, so they have the confidence and resources needed to succeed.

Edward, a young man supported through our ILP program, is excited to share his story with you.
