This year’s Light the Way Gala was truly a night to remember! The evening was filled with inspiring stories, delightful performances, and the warmth of community. We were so thrilled to formally announce The Center for Pediatric Health and Wellness coming to Northwest Detroit in 2026. The Center will be a private behavioral health center focused specifically on the acute needs of children, teenagers, and families.
The mental health crisis amongst our community members in Detroit continues to grow. While well documented, there are not enough inpatient resources available as current hospitals are not equipped to handle these significant needs.
