AN MCHS HOLIDAY

WHERE EVERY HOLIDAY FEELS LIKE HOME

There's No Place Like Home For The Holidays

At MCHS, home isn’t just a place.
It’s a feeling.
It’s a sense of belonging.

It’s laughter around the table, the warmth of being cared for, and the belief that tomorrow can be brighter. That’s what your support makes possible.

Marlon, one of our incredible youth, has made MCHS his home — a place where he feels supported, safe, and seen. Over the next two months, you’ll hear more of Marlon’s journey but for now, we invite you to open the first page of his story and see how that sense of home began.

“When I came to MCHS, I was just hoping for a place to just breathe and figure out my next step. What I didn’t expect was to find people who cared enough to help me dream bigger and feel at home. This holiday season feels different. I’m not just getting through it – I’m grateful for where I am.”

This holiday season, will you help more young people like Marlon discover that feeling of home? Stay tuned to follow Marlon’s journey and see how his story of hope and belonging began.

Grandma's House:
His Steady Place
Marlon's journey to MCHS wasn’t easy. Growing up, his grandmother’s house was the one place that felt steady — where he could feel safe — yet beyond those walls, life was uncertain. His parents cared for him deeply, but their struggles made stability hard to come by, and there were times when Marlon didn’t know where he would turn next. Through it all, his grandmother’s love became his anchor, the one light he could always come back to.
